Quaker Harvest Crunch Review - Is it Really a Nutty Cereal?

Quaker Harvest Crunch is a popular variety of Oatmeal and one of the most popular snack foods on the market today. There are literally hundreds of varieties of Quaker Harvest cereals available. The official website claims that each variety has been created by a single baker in Oregon. Each variety is nutritionally balanced, low in fat, and includes plenty of protein and fiber. I decided to create a comparison of the popular varieties to help inform you about the differences between the Quaker varieties and which may be best for you.

This first one is called the Original Quaker Harvest. It is made with hulled and ground corn bran cereal and includes no refined sugars. There are only 20 calories per serving, and there is a considerable amount of fiber in the cereal as well. The second variety is called Quaker Harvest Extra Strength and it is made with hulled flax seed and brown rice, whereas the Original has no bran in it. This one contains traces of sugar. There are still traces of sugar in the Original Quaker Harvest Crunch, however, it's not as much as in the Extra Strength. The granola is still very granola and there are still lots of nuts and seeds.

The third variety is Quaker Harvest Golden Acre. This contains acorn, sunflower, sesame, and walnut oil plus flax seed and protein. This has less saturated fat than the other two varieties of the Original Quaker Harvest Crunch. The walnuts and flax seeds make this nutrition slightly more complete than the other two varieties. This has more fiber and fewer calories than the original crunch and has less saturated fat.

Fourth is the Quaker Harvest Berry Blast. It is made with amaranth, blueberries, prunes, pears, raspberries, and almonds. This has walnuts, granola, and no brown sugar. There is also no trans fat.

The last variety is the Quaker Harvest Energy Boost. This has oatmeal, walnuts, granola, coconut, pecans, apples, grapes, and blueberries. This has no coconut oil, trans fat, or salt. This one has no flavour. It includes maple syrup to give it a nice thick smooth texture.

The Quaker Harvest Energy Boost has a very rich taste. It has a nice coconut flavour with hints of coffee and nutmeg. The cereal is not too chewy and has a nice chewable texture. It has granola, blueberries, walnuts, and prunes. It has no fibre and no salt.

All in all, I like this cereal. I think next time I will try the chocolate variety. The bran is a nice addition to cereals and it helps in cleansing. The granola is a good addition to cereal or other snacks. I would recommend giving the Quaker Harvest Crunch a try.



The Quaker Harvest Energy Boost has a brown sugar base. I like the taste of the brown sugar, but the crunch doesn't have that authentic granola quality I get with organic almond handrail nuts. I also noticed that the bran in the cereal wasn't as big as it was in other brands I've tried. This may be because I'm used to nutty cereals that have the bran all through.

I did, however, find that the taste of the Quaker Harvest Crunch isn't bad for me at all. I actually really like the walnuts, granola, and blueberries. I even like the granola, and the brown sugar is nice and light. I do recommend giving this cereal a try though if you're looking for a sweet and crunchy snack.

If you're looking for a great nutritious cereal, the Quaker Harvest Crunch is not your only choice. There are also several other types of nutty cereal out on the market today. I recommend trying Quaker Oven Pills for example. They are made with organic ingredients and taste fantastic. I also recommend trying Quaker Harvest Seed Mix since it's made from real, whole-grain seeds. It's got a nice nutty flavour and crunch, and there are no artificial flavours or colours added.

In summary, the Quaker Harvest Crunch is a good choice for a healthy, fruity cereal that's great for breakfast or a snack. I would recommend giving it a try, especially if you're used to nutty cereals. For me though, the cereal didn't live up to my high expectations, and I gave up eating the granola almost as soon as I put it into my mouth. For others, it'll just be a filler between solid food, but for me it tasted bland and had an odd aftertaste. I definitely recommend giving it a try though!
